We had about 1/4" inch of rain in April. We really needed rain, but, umm, next time, couldn't it be spread out a little ?

Thanks !
We were out of the danger zone but, man, we've seen flooding here before. There's a little nearby stream but it was well behaved even at the worst (which for us was Sunday). The fact that the ground was ready to soak up a lot of water (basically it didn't rain in April) and there were leaves on the trees to slow the rain down probably made a big difference.

My in-laws bought a condo in Lowell, which was hit hard. Here's the parking lot of their condo building, which is right on the Merrimack, as of Monday (it's probably drying out right now). As their unit is on the third floor and they're not occupying it yet, no harm done but… man. This better really be a "hundred year" flood…
