Yesterday, the commute from home to work was pretty easier. There was hardly anybody on the roads, and although the local roads were narrow, the highways were clear. But I noticed that the openings for the entrance ramps tend to be farther back in the snow, and the entrance ramps are merging earlier. Meanwhile, there are still sidewalks around my son's school that are either not plowed or are acccessible from the street corner.
I tried dropping off O at Alewife this morning at 10:30, and the traffic was horrendous. I can't beleive companies in Boston and Cambrige are expecting their employees to come in with so much snow on the road. And just think, we're getting more snow soon !
