I'm also trying to fit in some hacking to broaden my skill set. For example, I wrote a little demo program to demonstrate my C++ skills and style, and to build on that, I set up my own CVS repository, will enhance that program, then rewrite it in C# using the Mono beta as the platform.
I might also be setting up a tech weblog on Blogger/Blogspot. I decided that rolling my own with Movable Type or something similar would just be too distracting, and now Blogger supports comments, which is definitely one of the more useful features to have that's tougher to implement in a standalone setup.
Other than that, things are fine. My friend W came up for the weekend and I'll be seeing her again at class reunion. O is making shark stuff for S0's upcoming birthday party (it his obsession of the moment) and S1 is getting over her cold. And hey, I like that Black-Eye Peas CD.
