Not much to tell; it was a low-key scene at our son's school. Massachusetts isn't in play, and there were only three non-binding questions on the ballot, and all the local (town/county) stuff happens in the spring. Some enterprising ladies held a bake sale near the poll entrance. But there was a line out the door at Town Hall.

Arlington uses the same kind of oval fill-in marks that standardized tests use. I thought the broken arrow form (where you fill in the middle of the line to mark) was a bit odd, but it turns that neighboring Burlington uses it. I'm all for local color, but why are so many election procedures so darned weird ?
