Counting down

FEAR THIS: In a few short hours, we'll be slouching towards the mid-Aughties (or whatever decade this is called). Scary, eh ?
  • Piles of rented DVD's ? check
  • Two kids of dip ? check
  • Smoked mussels ? check
  • Champagne ? check
  • Changed into snuggly clothes ? check

The supermarket and liquor store were mobbed at 4, no surprises there.

We're watching Lilo and Stitch first. An animated Disney feature rated PG ? The social service worker in the movie is like a refugee from a Tarantino movie ! Times have changed… I also rented a DVD on the 1964 World's Fair (small girl after all), so I can relive the Space Age childhood I was almost too young to experience firsthand. And S0 likes that kind of stuff, too.

I like "naughties" because both naughty people and those who think it's all coming to naught will agree with it. And the encourageable ones, too ;)

Are the intense parts in L&S more intense than the scary parts in Snow White?

Well, it's more bang-zoomy, but not creepy-scary. I thought it was pretty funny, and the Elvis songs are a neat touch.

Those mussels were good, but nothing goes with champagne better than potato chips !
